BLS/CPR Training
For both Healthcare Professionals and Non-Healthcare Professionals
This program provides essential life-saving skills for both healthcare professionals and non-healthcare individuals. These courses combine flexible online learning with hands-on practice, ensuring participants are fully equipped to handle emergency situations. Healthcare providers benefit from the American Heart Association’s HeartCode BLS training, which includes online coursework followed by an in-person skills check-off. Non-healthcare individuals, such as educators and childcare workers, can enroll in Heartsaver CPR, AED, and First Aid courses to gain confidence and meet regulatory requirements.

Blended & eLearning by the American Heart Association.
HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. Students can complete online training on their own time and at their own pace.
HeartCode BLS may be purchased here: HeartCode BLS. Upon completion of the course, the student will receive a Certificate of Completion. In order to become certified, students must schedule the “Skills Class” with the instructor on campus. Call 469-803-5575 to schedule a Skills Class to complete the requirement for BLS/CPR and receive the 2-year AHA BLS Certification at the end of class. Cost of the Skills Class is $55.00 ($45 for students enrolled in a program at JMTC).
